Non-Fiction. The Hiding Place takes place in Holland during WW2, where the main character, Corrie, is the leader of an underground rebellion whose main purpose is to get the persecuted Jews to saftey, away from the Gestapo (the secret police). Eventually she gets caught, and is brought to prison, where she stays until the end of the war. 14+ because it is kind of hard to read, as it is really slow moving.
